i chose my blog name, because it expresses how blessed i am to have been born again at the age of 13. Jesus is my life. to be His daughter is everything i need or want. i have always known i was loved, my mom and dad made sure of it, i thank God for giving me parents like mine. i was born an eternal optimist. ken (God's precious gift of a husband to me) calls me "pollyanna", a fictional character who always sees the best in situations and thinks things will turn out great! That's me, i look at things and people and expect the best. Even though i'm disappointed at times, i'm always believing for the best.
i'm starting this blog because i love journaling and recording the wonderous works of my Father. He is amazing, and powerful, and faithful, and loving and more than i can ever express but i love writing about Him and His marvelous works so that's what i hope to do here.
i love January 1st, it's like walking into a kitchen that's filled with the most delicious aromas and a table that's beautifully set and being told to sit down. Your mouth begins to water and you anticipate the delicacies you are about to enjoy. January 1st says, " A new year, filled with wonderful surprises all waiting for you from your Father." This year 2009 is filled with the aroma of wonderful times of celebration for our family. We are planning to meet in california in may for jamie's graduation frm CBU and then we will gather at home in hilo to witness the Father uniting jamie and alden's lives when they get married in june. We hope to go to indiana for a special time with josh, karlene and our granddaughters next Christmas. And, randy, well, randy is always full of surprises! most of all i can't wait to see what the Father will do in all of our lives this year and my prayer is that 2009 will bring all of us closer to Him and knowing Him better.
well, i need to eat :) so i will say, "bon appetite!"
