Trusting God

i had surgery yesterday on my foot. God was so good. it went perfectly, i was home by 1:00. dr. matsuura feels like he got it all, and it looked the same as last time and it was in the right spot. so now i get time alone with God to rest and reflect and draw close to Him. i believe this is a momentary trial and that this cancer will not move and will not return. however, my faith is in God not in the removal of my cancer. i trust that God has plans for my life and He is accomplishing His will for me, this trial is a non-issue. my desire is to be yielded to Him today, to hear from Him today, to be a vessel for his purposes today. "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehan that we should walk :) in them." (Eph. 2:10). today my work is to rest and reflect and draw close to Him, this is going to be a great day!

may we know Him intimately today, and rest in Him whatever trials come.
blessings,
denise

p.s. the doctor gave me two types of pain medication and i thought that i couldn't take them together and my foot is really hurting, but just now the nurse called to check on me so i asked just to be sure and she said i could take them simultaneously! thank you God for having her call just now. the pain would have been a distraction to my focus on God today. but having it this morning also gives me compassion to pray for those i know are in pain, ken, jax, don, russ, my aunt claire, my cousin mark, be near to them today Lord and may they know Your comfort and healing.

had no idea you had surgery (or that there was a need for one) but very glad (&praisingGod) that it all went well.
